Experience hands-on training and small group interactive learning through procedural training designed for intensivists and general pulmonologists. Participate in standard bronchoscopy, radial and EBUS bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy placement, and pleural procedures, including small bore chest tube placement and tunneled pleural catheter placement.
CHEST live learning courses are designed to provide participants with cognitive and technical skills that complement existing skills obtained during formal training. Our programs are developed after a careful consideration of educational principles of adult learning theory and incorporate didactic, interactive, multimedia-based learning methods and hands-on workshops using inanimate, high-fidelity, and cadaveric models for simulation. CHEST Faculty are mere facilitators and function as the “guide on the side” not the “sage on the stage.”
